North Carolina LIDAR topographic data no longer maintained by North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT)
Trenton Stewart - 18-Sep-2019
The State of North Carolina began a program to map the entire state with LIDAR topographic elevation in 2000 as part of the North Carolina Floodplain Mapping Program. The State of North Carolina and FEMA signed an agreement that designated the State as the first Cooperating Technical State (CTS). These topographic elevation files have in the past been accessible on North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) website for each County in North Carolina. This information is no longer maintained by NCDOT and is now accessible on the nconemap.gov website. Click on the “NC One Map Geospatial Portal” icon on the left of the page then click on the Browse tab and the elevation data is accessible to download from this page.
